ok so i just got my car back on the road i put a t3t4 setup on it and have a ex dump on wast-gate and when i did this one of my o2 sensor wires burnt into from the manifold i will be getting a new o2 sensor on Monday when i get paid i have my boost set on 9 lbs for now till i get my fuel pump and fic 650s in next week the problem is when i hit wot and my rpms reach 40 to 45 hundred it starts backfiring and running really rich you can smell fuel bad for a few seconds and soothes out i had to order anther wide band some one tried to steal it out of my car and broke the Gage im wandering if you all thing that its is because of the o2 sensor or if anyone has any ideas i would really appreciate it thanks

Bov recirculated? Which o2 sensor? Stop going WOT. Also is it tuned? Do you have a tuning device?

Also punctuation is your friend.

well its basically your running really rich so un-burned fuel going to the manifold then burning reason for the backfire..

recirculate your bov if it isnt
check for stuck open injectors tho i doubt it ### its only on wot
you probably have a bad afpr
you fuel pressure is probably nuts due to bad afpr
get something to tune them injectors

i only wot it one time when it done that i prety much babied it back home and parked it

how do i check the ecu for a 5v ground?

if it is just idling or babying it around it is still running rich bad if you pull up to a red light it will almost make your eyes burn if your windows are down

its the up stream o2 sensor

i think its my front o2 sen 2of the wires are bare and touching its parked till i get the new on probably be on Wednesday i will let you guy know if that fixes it

did you ever crack the ecu open to see if it did any damage? If it did you could fix that while you wait on the o2 sensor. I used a 20 gauge solid wire from radio shack and soldered it in place.

no i haven't had a chance to work on it yet when i crack it open where would i need to be looking at to to see the damage i don't really know much about the insides of computers and stuff thanks for the help

go the second link i posted and it has a link to a pic of what a burnt ground wire will look like in post 9. did you smell any burnt wire in the car when it started acting up?

Ok so i put a new upstream o2 in it don't smell fuel anymore but I still have the same problem I hooked my buddys narow band afr gage up till I get my new wide band in on Saturday. And its showing that I'm running slightly right and at 4k it goes ape shit bounching every where on the lean side I did that one time turnd my mbc all the down so I can only build 7 lbs boost when I did that it ran fine ?? I know a t3t4 is a lot bigger than the tiny t25 but I was bossten 17 lbs on the t25 and had no problems and all I have done since then is put the t3t4 on it tom I'm going todo a boost leak test would that cause this I have never seen any ones car do this. It sounds almost like anti lag backfiring any help would be greatfull

any ideas

or a fuel filter or any thing help please

ok i pulled my ecu out the sensor ground is still good nothing looked to be bad in it im going to try to build a boost leak kit tomorrow and see what i can find does any one have any thing else i should check this shits killing me
