Then what was he talkin about? ROFL

I really didn't want to post again, but...

I was talking about the fact that my 38mm internal gate would not hold 21PSI. It had nothing to do with boost creep, and it was not "already open." Boost creep does not occur when the wastegate stays shut. If that happens, you will keep building boost. Boost creep is something similar but different.

The gate blew open at 21PSI, period. It will not hold any more pressure than that.

Later,

I wasn't talkin about boost creep either. We are talkin about a INternal wastegate not being able to hold more than 21psi. Which I'm tellin you something is wrong with your
setup. With a simple bleeder valve and a stock 14b I have had boost creep that led me as high as 22psi tha is with the tsock actuator which is 7psi I think and with the stock flapper. 25 psi I could see but not 21psi. I do know that your flapper WAS open at 21 psi. Matter of fact you probably have a 15psi actuator and so your flapper should have opend at 15 psi.

Your right, something was wrong with my setup - a crappy internal gate paired with an even crappier exhaust housing.

I still don't understand what point you're trying to make. Bottom line is that the gate would not hold more than 21PSI. Nothing to do with the setup, it simply wouldn't hold any more.

I understand man. I have talked to you online before and I know that you know what your talkin about I just was curious why the other guy thought it appropriate too tell me i didn't knwo what you were talkin about. No big deal.

Back to the thread 60-1 is the cheap way to get to your goal. GT35r is the expensive but easier way to get your goal.

I found it appropriate to say that because it was obvious you didn't understand what Coup was talking about. I understood him because I have the same problem with my Bullseye 38mm internal gate too. I believe you were confusing our problems with boost creep which is pretty much the complete opposite. No biggie though, everyone gets confused :thumb:

But I do agree that a 60-1 would be the better choice. Although, I know you can pull a little more out of your 50 trim setup so I suggest sticking it out for a while.
