rre vs magnus 1g in 2g converters

Are you talking about the cable that attaches the 1g cas to the 2g cam sensor plug and crank sensor. If so I doubt theres much of a difference but I'm not sure the magnus one looks nice it gives the car a stock appearance and you save yourself all the soldering.

i believe it's the cam wiring that connects the 6bolt to the 7 bolt car. Magnus as does RRE. RRE's web site says you need to solder but magnus does not. Also RRE's site says you may still get misfire codes. Will magnus do the same?

You're likely to get the misfire codes no matter what you do since it's a different type of sensor setup; best bet is to use a 93-94 CAS (black top, smoothly rounded appearance) since it is a Hall Effect sensor like the 2G uses. You'll still have an occasional misfire code, but it's unlikely that you'll be bothered by it. Then again, I set DSMLink to ignore it in my daughter's Talon so that it wasn't an issue!
