My 1G likes to rev up from 1k rpm to 1.5k rpm while ideling, weird thing is it happens like twice a week and then stops again. When it happens it doesn't go away for an hour or so, it's very strange because I can't figure out what's triggering it. A mechanic buddy of mine mentioned it could be a air intake leak, basically the engine pulls air from somwhere it's not supposed to and revs up because of it. Doesn't matter if the engine is cold or warm, same for the air. I've ordered a used replacement air intake tube and I'm going to install it tomorrow since the old ones pretty beat up. If you got some tips it would be very much appreciated. Worst part about is when I'm stopping at a light and the engine revs up and down people are going to think I want to race them
