I always have the “warehouse struggle”, I just had to choose NGK plugs over Denso in my most recent order because of it. I’ve never noticed previously same warehouse items changing though, I will definitely keep an eye out for that! You guys never noticed this? I just tested it hard. All I needed was 3 windshield wipers. I added every single rear wiper they had and wouldn't you know it ALL of them were in a different warehouse. And I had an oil filter and suddenly it wasn't in the same warehouse as the other parts as it was when I didn't have a rear wiper in the cart. 15$ in parts and a 50$ order. No thank you.
I'm fed up. They purposely ship from "different warehouses" to bump up shipping. You can see it when parts that were together split up when you add others. It wasn't always this way.
. Luckily I can get some Autozone inventory for 10% above cost but I still prefer brands sold on RockAuto over Duracrap. Literally yesterday I had a defective Duralast alternator, "triple tested" they say. Also has anybody else noticed that "premium" wiper blades cost you $20-$45 each now (shelf price)?? Just a decade ago you could get conventional beams for $3 each. Though they only lasted a few months, the same ones start at $8 now. You can get them cheaper if you buy in bulk but only business owners do that. Or you can get fooled by the $6 blades online then get charged $10 to ship. I only seem to need a new set of Michelin blades every 4-5 years, but still. We live in a world where you're charged the most amount of money for the least amount of product. If it were possible for us to produce 100% of our car parts at home, we'd all be doing it.
