Honestly, it's only 5%. It'll cover maybe half of the taxes you'll pay on the order. I do it just out of principal at this point. You didn't miss a lot.

The codes don’t work and I checked my emails from years past and realized I had reach out to RockAuto over the years a handful of times to inquire as to why I have never received the 5% since the only way to know if it works is to hit the submit payment.

W/e I’m grateful to simply have acces to the site and the great affordable quality parts.. but realize in the 10+ yrs of buying products I have yet to claim those discounts.

You have to submit payment and then see if it did or not , since this has never worked for me , do you get any confirmation prior to purchase when you type in
“how did you here about us”.

This is on an iPhone, but should be able to enter the code, click “Go” or Enter (I assume, for Android?) in the keyboard popup to close the keyboard.

Thank you for a clear explanation, when you say click go you mean “place order “ as in you will not see the discount displayed until payment is submitted right ?

Once you put the code in the "how did you hear about us" slot and hit tab you should see discount. I've always seen it before I submitted.
