We use the same material as full-race. Their 8 gauge SS low carbon weldable elbows. You guys aren't getting the point of the manifold. We built it so that you can bolt a Garrett turbo onto your DSM. A 2g manifold is good for performance and price, but it doesn't do any good if you can't use it with the Garrett turbo.
BTW good job keeping your cool replying to this thread, its easy to misconstrew peoples posts/bashes. I guess we are all skeptics. keep up the good work and fabrication skills. Im in the process of fabricating my own intake manifold right now.Originally posted by RnR Racing
I thought AGP had a 6-7 week wait on their kits. So how would he already have his kit?

Iam sure the AGP is a good kit. It can speak for itself, and doesnt need ppl promoting it like it was a top 10 hit. So please stop it.
Jesus Christ this is not about freaking AGP. its a discussion about the RNR racing t3/t4 turbo kit. How about some God damn moderation

The choice is not to stick between a stock 2g manifold and a tubular manifold...its to choose between a cast garret manifold for 450-475 and a tubular manifold.
If you pay over 500 for a manifold with runners shorter then 30 inches, your a ###, a eqaul length manifold with runner a foot long with only help you in the fast and the furious.

I thought point of those was to have (in our case) 2 exhaust pulses hit the exhaust wheel at the same time spooling turbo faster so technically it shouldn't matter if runner is 12 or 30 inches? Could somebody explain, I'm very curious.

First of all, never will 2 exhaust pulses come out of your engine at the same time. Its a 4 stroke engine and each cylinder is always on a different stroke.
