Today I ordered the full garrett T3/T4 kit from AGP turbo. I know that the garrett turbo's are oil only and not oil/water like my stock t25. My problem is this, I don't know what is the best way to plug the previous oil lines? And will the oil pressure from the stock location be sufficient? Thanks.

Excuse the previous question. I didn't mean plug the old oil lines, I meant how do I plug the water feed when I get the new turbo installed. Sorry.

One more question. Is the oil pressure going to be sufficient from the stock location or should I tap into the oil filter housing? And if I should tap it how difficult is that?

For non-BB turbo's I think they recommend going off the oil filter housing for the added pressure and cleaner oil. But I have heard of many people going off the head still and not having any problems. Ask AGP what they recommend for their turbos.

Your kit will be shipped with an oil line to come off the filter housing. That's how we do it with the non-ballbearing turbos. The water lines can be plugged or looped together very easy.

Ok so how easy is it to tap into the oil filter housing or is there something already to just plug in the oil line.

you CAN loop the water lines, but its better if you either
1) get a non turbo water pipe like already mentioned
or
2) remove the water line on the right side and replace it with the correct size plug, and cap off the left line with a short piece of hose, clamp and a bolt/golf T/whatever doesnt leak.

Ive got a plug for the water pipe from AMS. It is a bolt that just threads in. I just put on some teflon and put it in. No leaks whatsover. I am running an AGP 50-trim kit.

Well, props for attentive customer service=)

Also, for Your future reference dragon....2g's have oil feed lines from the oil filter housing stock...but it doens't work with aftermarket turbos, neways. I haven't played with it in a while but I beliebe its something goofy, like an inverted flair fitting(like a brake line). And since its a hard line, it doesn't take well to tweaking.

I know right AGP even answered my questions on the forum. They are good people. Well when I get the turbo and intercooler in, I will be sure to inform you guys of what problems I have installing it. Ill get back to you soon.
