If are money is fine. Why has he not been in contact with ppl. im sure I will get my kit. Im just wonderin when this is going to be. As I said. I was told 2 weeks. This was one of the biggest selling points for me. We are going on a month here, and now I and other have lot all contact with us.

Ryan please get on here and sort this shit out.

It seems to me i have had good responses from Ryan, I usually receive emails from him between 24 and 48 hours. I can only honestly imagine him being very busy...

Yes he really only has to make the manifolds... but if you have say 10 orders for the kits... you have to go buy all the parts... then weld up 10 manifolds that could take from 2 hours to 10 hours to do each. I have done some "log" style manifold and they take about 2 hours to do... if you do them right... just a lot of measurements and crap like that.

Ryans manifold is close to a log style but it has a lot more curviture to it. Which means more cuts and more aligning and more welding.

On my order there were 2 kits ordered. 1) 60-1 trim .63 stage 5 a/r housing, and the 2) the 57 trim turbo. The kits were ordered in Feburary. Yes its been a loooong wait... yes it SUCKS! but hey i cant really complain because what else can i do?

All in all, i really think this turbo setup for Ryan was a bit much. I dont think he has enough help to tackle this big project. Yet im not trying to downsize him by anymeans, im just stating i know how much labor he has to put into the manifolds and well to get the 100% takes plenty of time.

So to Ryan, i hope i get my turbo kit soon, and the same with my friend. We've been waiting a great deal of time, it sucks like i said, but i guess thats part of this business.

~ short note ~ ive been working on my 2.4L hybrid for a long time (december 2002).. the block is at the machine shop and i still have to order a few more parts. All i can say is this..... if my engine is built and in the car before i get my turbo kit.... we are going to have a problem for sure. I plan on having my car up in running before this time next month.

Would you'd rather have him sit on internet or phone answering all your whiny complains or be in the shop finishing kits? I'm not sure how RnR's customer service is but from personal experience... I do alot of work myself and for few buddies for FREE and I hate being rushed, as a matter of fact more I get bugged the longer I take to piss those annoying people off. Just something to think about...

First off. Im not tryin to rush him. I was told 2 weeks, and now its a month. I need these parts for my car i can drive it. I just want to know when my kit should be shipped. I dont think this is a big deal.

well maybe he should just say what Pro-street says to me about my intercooler....
"Hi Nick, we apolgize for the delay, but we are almost ready to ship your kit. We will be including silicone couplngs
and a slimline fan at no additional charge for being so
patient. Thank you for your patience."(Mon, 07 Apr 2003 12:04:59 )
"Nick, if Im not mistaken you ordered a street core. We are
currently waiting on turbonetics to deliver our next batch
of cores, once thats done only a 2-3 day lead after that
for shipping. Thanks for being patient. I promise your
intercooler kit will be perfect. Thank you"(Mon, 3 Mar 2003 00:26:35 )
"Good day Nick, the special instructions field in the order
page is for special instructions or color instructions. We
are currently in the 2nd production run and you just made
the next batch. What turbo will you be running? Please let
us know. Thank you very much for your purchase and support."(Fri, 21 Feb 2003 17:48:07)

I ordered the kit 02/20/2003.. Total $1,238.51... and lets see over 3 months later still not intercooler!

Get my drift....

If they are too busy to provide customer service, then hire someone else. Busy is no excuse for poor service. Plenty of other shops with good service that can ship products on time (two weeks or less) and answer/return emails.

I would call the card company, and cancel it. They can't charge you a restocking fee if you do that.

Boy would I hate to be RnR and have to deal with all you whiney little kids....

Thats the market they are in. Suck it up and deal with it, or leave the business. You wouldn't believe the questions that are asked and the people you have to deal with. Ask anyone who runs a performance shop what they have to deal with. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I see that RnR uses Turbonetics turbos instead of Garret like AGP. Which turbo is better? (performance & reliability)

Look. Im not trying to be an asshole here. But when I spend that kind of money. I expect some good customer relations. If im buying anything, and told that the wait is this. The that is what I expect, No exceptions. One of the biggest reasons I bought the kit. Is because I was told the wait time was 2 weeks. When I first talked to AGP they sayed 5-6 weeks. That was a little two long for me. But here Iam going on a month. Now you probley think. Well a month isnt that long of await. No its not really that long. But I still dont know when its being shipped. It could be another 2 weeks. Then 1 more week for shipping. So in the end it could be a very long time. Not as long as the guy with the pro street cooler. I cant believe you have waited that long. At your point I would be pissed right off.

As for me canceling my card. I cant I sent a money order, that has already been cashed. So not much I can do there. I just wish Ryan would be striaght up with me. I have been asking when It would be shipped for a week now. No replys back from phone calls, emails, or on this board. Which I think is pathatic. I do admit, that I have been asking Ryan alot of questions. Im sure he is sick of me by now. But Im still a customer, and I think I deserve some respect. The only reason I have asked so many questions, and have such worries. Is because I have never bought anything over the net before. I have never delt with this company. No one has tested this kit yet. It cost me a shit load of money, and I need my car together soon because the first NCRA events are starting soon. Iam already going to miss the Imports vs Dimestics.

So please Ryan. Help me out, and just tell me when iam lookin at reciving my kit. thanks

You couldn't pay me to put a turbonetics turbo on my car. Its bottom of the barrel cheap crap.

It they are so cheap. Why does Dsmsport use them in there kit also. Seemed to work well on there car?

Thats just my opinion. I've seen so many turbonetic turbos fail its ridiculus. Do a search online, and see the opinions of them. You don't see anyone bashing quality garret stuff.

I dont think he can legaley charge me a re-stocking fee in the first place?? No where on the site. Does it say that there is one. What can I do about this. To be honest I want my money back

Actually all contracts have to have a time limit. So your agreement was to pay $1495 if you could have it in 'X' amount of time. If the other party failed to fulfill that part of the contract, the deal is off and you would be entitled to a 100% full refund.
FYI, we shipped the kit you had ordered from us to someone else almost 2weeks ago. It's already on his car running.

Kevin

Kevin,

way to rub it in :)

FastRthenU,

I feel for you dude, but there really isnt anything you can do but sit back and wait for your kit to arrive. First rule of buying stuff online or anything in a high price is to pay via credit card so you have some buyer protection if the buy goes bad. Sending a money order is just like sending cash, if they dont deliver your SOL.

Way to kick me in the nuts, when Iam already down Kevin:(
I have never bought anything over the net before. So It looks like im learning the hard way.

You said all contracts have a time limit. What is the limit?? At this point I really do want my money back. I dont know how I can be charged a 30% re-stocking fee when it doesnt say anything about this in the rufunds policy on there site.

Is there anything I can do at this point? Or am I stuck with waitting. I dont see why I cant ask for my money when its taking twice as long as they said it out it would. Wouldnt they of breached the contract in doing so at this point?

What do you guys suggest.

edit I just read you post agina Kevin. So bacially Im intilted to my money back. Because he said It would be shipped in 2 weeks. I orderd the kit on the 30 of march. The Money order was sent on the 31. He recieved it on the 3rd of april. It is now the 23 of april. So from what you have said. Im intitled to my money back. 100% right??

Do you have an e-mail or something where it was said that it would be done in 2weeks?

Kevin

Well I did have one. But I deleted it because it was getting old, and I needed space. I only have a hotmail account and it only allows so much free space. I found a email were I asked him how long it would take. But I couldnt find the reply. But I do remember him sayin that it would take 2 weeks to be shipped. He also told me on the phone personaly that it would be 2 weeks. I know a verble contract is still legaly binding.

What were the other guys told the wait would be?? Ill keep lookin. I canprobley dig up that old email some how.

I went through some of the old emails. The best thing I could find was one for the 10 of april. Where he says he will ship in a week. So this is consistant with his original statment of being shipped in 2 weeks. But it is past a week from the tenth also

my only problem with this whole thing is that he lied when he told me it would be 2 weeks. When I ordered they didn't even have the 1st manifold built. I don't mind waitnig but I would like to know how long I should expect to wait from the begining. I understand an extra week or so but it's going on over a month now. I hate to complain but the most important part of customer service is having things out in a timely manner. If I would have known it was going to take this long I would have ordered else were. I just don't think telling people in will be done in 2 weeks is right when you know it won't. I guess there isn't anything I can do about it since I'm not giving 30% of my money away. Just for the record though this is starting to get rediculous. I hope to receive mine soon because I've got some race events coming up that my car has got to be finished for.

CBgst

God I know how you feel. Im glad on not the only one that is thinkin this is getting rediculous. I was told 2 weeks, just like you. Im also pushing on a month now, and I need my car for NCRA events, and others. As I said before. The 2 week waiting period was one of the key selling points for me. As kevin said before. I could have had my AGP kit by now. At this point im pretty pissed off.

I want my money back, and I want it all. Just to show Ryan Im not a complete prick. He can keep the 50 dollars for the shipping charges. Even though He hasent shipped a thing. But I refuse to pay this 30% re-stocking fee, for a few reasons. First off. No where on his site does it state anything about this. Second of all, he has failed to comply with his side of the agreement.

Ryan get in touch with my ASAP. I dont feel like getting dicked around anymore. You can contact me on this board. By email [email protected]. Or by phone 519 - 827 - 0555

I dont have any time to waste anymore.

Well, you get what you pay for. You want fast service? Go with big company like turbonetics that has customer service department. Want awesome deal on turbo, manifold and install kit for cheap ($1495 you paid IS cheap) I guess there's nothing you can do but wait.

Isn't there a rule about " no customer service" threads anyways?

First off. This isnt a customer sevice thread. I know it is starting to be descused now. But I think it needs to at this point. I really dont think 1500 is cheap, and just cause somthing is cheaper then somthing else. I really dont think customer service should be tossed to the side. Im not trying to permote here. But the AGP's kit is only a hundread more, and there cutomer service is great.

I agree that customer service shouldn't be ignored but I assume RnR is a very small business. You have to remember that you can only do so much when you have no help and you don't make enough profit to hire somebody to answer phones and emails whole day. I'm not sure how many orders he got on those turbo kits but I would assume quiet a lot since it was lowest priced. Maybe he got injured on job or something?

Quiet awhile ago when Jon@TRE started doing transmissions it was the same situation. People just complaining about slow service. He had family emergency and had to leave for few days and hell broke lose. I don't think whining on this forum is going to do any good. I feel bad for you but DSM market is pretty small. It's nothing like domestic V8 or Honda where there's A LOT of companies that make products for cheap and stores like Summit that keep parts stock piled and there's a shop on ever corner that can do work for you. I'm exagerating so you get a point...
