I thought I 'd put my .02 in. The thing that everyone needs to understand is this how this industry is as far as customer service. I come from an industry where customer service is highest priority and we go through amazing hoops to make people happy. The problem with that for me is that its easy for me to lose sight of this when I'm on the customer end. The key thing that vendors need to do (And AGP is an example of someone who gets this), is set your customers expectations accurately. If you don't really know if you can get someone a turbo kit in 2 weeks then don't say it. I would much rather be told its going to take 6 weeks and be pleasantly surprised when it arrives in 4 instead of tearing my hair out from the 15th day on. The smart business people realize that they may lose some sales up front by being honest with lead times but once there competitors start failing to deliver on their promises, then its just a matter of time before the smart guy gets everyone's business.

Ryan finally E-mailed me today. He said that he would ship next week:rolleyes: So that would make it 5 weeks instead of 2 like promised. I told him I would like a full refund of my money minus the 50 shiping fee. I will have to see what He says. But I think he is not going to give it to me:mad:

I really dont want to have to contact my lawyer about this shit. But if I have to, what other choice do I have
 
Well we have been real busy like usual. I have't had the time to keep up with this thread. Email is the best way to get a hold of us as we don't have secrataries to answer the phone. I didn't read the whole thread because it has gotten to long, but I can tell you the first batch of turbo kits are finished and will be shipped this week. The second batch will be shipped Mon of next week. I am truly sorry this has taken longer than we first expected.

I don't quote a lead time and not expect us to be able to ship the product in that matter of time. We have had some delays and I didn't expect this to happen. We are growing real fast and getting really busy. We are trying to find good dependable help to get our products completed and shipped faster to meet the demands.

The manifold with all the runners and collector actually takes a lot longer than you would expect. Then custom 3" downpipes, 3" 02 housings, 2.5" 02 housing, dump tubes etc. It takes time especially when they are still a new design. We have a lot of turbo kits that are going out with the first batch. So expect them real soon. Again you can ask amny of our customers and we are pretty right on target with our lead times. We just didn't expect the time it would take to build one the best turbo kits out there. Email me with any questions or comments.
 
Ok I have caved. I just dont have the time to deal with getting the money back. Then waitting longer for another kit to arrive. Ryan emailed me sayin the kit would be shipped monday for me:D

So hopfully I can end this little chapter of my life. But In the future Ryan. Please take care of your customers no matter what. Dont leave us hangin, because I was not the only one talkin about re-fund. But what ever its over. Just want my stuff now:thumb:
 
Only time will tell how this turns out. We've all heard its going to ship before.

Then you have to see if it even fits, if it performs, and if it last. Ohh the joy!
 
It will perform, fit and last. I built them so that they will. We didn't spend this much time on something for it not to work.

Unreal, if you or anyone ever did have a problem with your AGP kit I can guarantee you wouldn't tell anyone on this board because of your love for AGP. It's all good we know everyone will like the kits and they will perform to their expectations.
 
Sure I would. I don't post enough love for AGP. What other turbo company takes you out to dinner when they are in town? Now thats customer service.

No problems to report. Once something bad happens, I'll be the first to say so.
 
Well my kit is finished. I'm not sure when it'll ship but atleast I know it won't be long. I'll let everyone know how it is. I do have to agree with Ryan though if there was a problem with anything from AGP I don't think anyone would post it here and if they did I'll bet that thread would've been locked immediately. I'm not bashing AGP either. I haven't heard anything bad about them they just seem to come up in every turbo thread. I know they're not complaining about the free advertising though or at least I wouldn't. I will say that I think that some of thier post on this thread were intended to put down the quality of this kit. It wasn't said out right but I think they were trying to be suttle (sp?)about it. Maybe that's not how they intended it to be but it seemed that way. That's my 2 cents and I will give a review of the kit when I get so everyone can decide for themselves.
 
Ya, I got the same impression from some of the replys on this thread. I don't let it bother me though because I know how our kits are.

I am actually pretty close to all the locals around here in San Diego. Going to races, hangouts, meets, etc. I just wish I could get my car going before the next century. Just no time anymore.
 
Well the kits are done, but what about our exhaust Ryan, it has been over a month already. I tried calling on my days off and you sent me an email that it would be shipped last week (again). I am being patient here and am really wanting the exhaust. I need to know so i can have a signed delivery notice on the door because i work from 5am to 6pm. so I don't miss the UPS dude. Any info would be appreciated, you can email me if you like.
 
Iam glad to see things are starting to get sorted out now. As for ppl putting the kit down. Yes some of the post were doing that. Some were not even suttle about it at all. But you have to expect that. Its just like anything else in the world. There is always a little rivilry between compettive ppl, when using differnt prducts. Everyone always wants there stuff to be better.

As long as this kit performs to my expectations, and last like it should. I will be very happy. I will admit that the manifold isnt really bling. But as ryan said it wasnt made for that. As for the turbonetics turbos, not being any good.

I dont know what to say aobut this really. I have seen many ppl use them with great sucsess. So its all in personal beleife. As someone said before. Only time will tell how the kit really is.

How do you know that Iam getting my kit before yours?? Maybe he is sending yours out this week, or on the same day:confused:

well i just would have figure if you ordered your march 31 and is getting shipped monday then.... that means you waited not even a month when i waited well over that.....

who knows you might be right maybe it did get shipped out but until then ill just sit with my fingers crossed that when the UPS or FED ex guy comes i get a package:D
 
They probably have been waiting for 1 or 2 parts for a lot of orders. I'd guess that whether you ordered in Feb or Mar, they've probably been waiting for the same things.

Now that i think about it he did have to do a few other custom things for us that i wont mention... probably that is what the hold up is
 
Another 5 orders were shipped out yesterday and the rest of the current order will be shipped out later this week. Email me if you need a tracking number.
 
Im going to go out on a limb here, and risk getting this thread locked. This is unacceptable, from any business for any reason. If you are going to quote how long its going to take to build, buy ship a product to your customers. You damn better do it in that time period. Its as simple as that, we don't care if you are waiting on parts, we don't care of you are busy, we simply do not care. to quote a custom 2 weeks and still not have that product to the customer is not acceptable PERIOD. i know exactly where FastRthenU is coming from. i notified a vender that i needed a part and i was quoted 2 weeks to recive my part. guess what its been 7 and i still don't have it. do i care what the reasons are #### no. will i ever buy from that vender again #### no.

threads like these are So important, why.. because it will make these second rate boot leg vendors step up to the plate or go under. the Internet is the single fastest growing form of advertising for market specific products ever and it FREE. what other venue can venders go and advertise there products for free for as long as the want? Or better yet send there anonymous advertising teams to a specific market and saturate it with how great there products are. Good service is good service and bad service is bad service.

I don't buy into well that happened to you but it did not happen to me BS. I can assure you that if every bad experience was allowed to be posted these venders would do a much better job of appeasing there customers on a regular bases. For a customer to be quoted a specific time table and not see a product for double and maybe triple the time cannot be allowed to happen.

These shops have very little over head and virtually zero employees in most cases. Are we supposed to accept that you don't have the decency to return a freaking E-mail or return a phone call? the customer that you bend over determines your success or demise. word of mouth is the most successful form of advertising. the no vender complaint rule is bogus, if you can post good experiences then you should be able to post bad experiences. Its ridiculous for venders to have limitless post of free advertisement. without having negative feedback allowed to be expressed as well.

As dsm enthusiasts we are a very small group that spends a tremendous amount of money with thrown together shops and faceless venders. You had better start treating us with respect or YOU will not be here for long doubt it..... go ask dsm-performance.

I understand completly where you as a consumer are coming from. I was there not to long ago myself. We try our best to serve our customers. I misquoted on the lead time for the first couple turbo kit but it is well under control now and won't happen again. We always return all emails, etc. I also go out of my way to give our customers the best possible service. We have many, many happy customers and they know what we have done for them.
