RNR 3inch 02 Eliminator Turbo Back Exhaust *Review*

All right I have a few questions about the full 3" setup. 1. Does it drone at cruising speeds 60&70 mph? 2. Is it louder than say a 1.8L with a straight pipe? I like this setup and the price is right, so if it sounds good i will be getting one for my Tsi(fund permitting). I'm going to be putting it on my daily driver. Thanks for the help.

It doesnt drone at all. I actually find that my exhaust is loudest under deceleration. Its very deep and looks great.

I am thinking about replacing my HI-FLOW for a Test Pipe. Anyone running a test pipe on here? I just think that my HI-FLOW is restricting me to much.

I am running a 3" downpipe w/integrated testpipe and all of the piping is 3" all the way to the muffler, good combo personally; although I have no emissions to deal with where I am from.

Alright guys here are the pics of my exhaust. The box arrived all tore up so i didnt know how the exhaust would look when i got it. Here is a pic of the muffler. It could have been wrapped up to protect it a bit i would think, i dont know if it is going to show or not.

The tip i dont like on a pretty polished muffler, then just a piece of pipe coming out. (doesnt make sense but maybe i didnt understand what was going to be put on). The welds are beautiful and the bends are nice. Here is the O2 eliminator, has nice welds, not much flash for me to deal with. Looks nice.

Here is the inlet side, nice welds and nothing for me to clean up. Nice flange and heavy duty so it most probably wont warp under the extreme heat.

Here is a pic of the downpipe, i ordered the aluminized pipe on mine, everything looks nice and welds are great.

Here is a pic of what i guess you would call the cat back part, nice welds really free flowing, the 3" pipe is huge compared to the stock stuff.

Here is the pic of the intermediate pipe. Not much to explain here.

All in all i believe Ryan makes a quality product. It seems as it is going to perform very well. I think a little TLC to assure it arrives in excellent condition would be nice. The welds are all top quality. As for the wait time, I believe if you are not sure just be honest with us Ryan and tell us that it may take a month. I still would have ordered it, i just wouldnt have been expecting it so soon and gotten worried like i did. I really believe Ryan went out of his way to help everyone and can imagine that is the type of guy he is, just really nice and not wanting to disappoint anyone. I really think he meant well. I apologize for my impatience. The exhaust looks well worth the money and no one can match the price. I thought when i ordered the muffler it would come all pretty out of the rear. Might just have to get a polished tip locally. But I would definitely recommend the exhaust, just expect a little wait time for the quality. Thanx for a quality product Ryan.

That is cool, i will try to get one as soon as i get the car done, the guy i bought the head from is going out of business now, but he said he will try to get me one anyway. My luck with the DSM's is just amazing.

Something pretty fvcking heavy must have hit the muffler to do damage like that. I would contact UPS and complain about that. No amount of bubble tape would have been able to save it.

Mine should be delivered to my house in a a few hours. I'll post some pics of it when I see it later today. :D

About the Exhaust being damaged. My Box came really fuked up to from UPS. If you look at my orginal Review and the pics of my box are in there. I was so mad when the ups guy dropped it off..i made sure i got the insurance number before he left just incase anything was damaged. In my case i got lucky..my muffler was wraped in bubble warp and protected it. Everything came out looking okay. Sorry about your muffler.

As for your exhaust lxlaw. Looks awesome man. Exactlly the same way mine looked. Good review. Good Pics.

I spent the extra 40 for the 4inch tip. Well worth it. Makes the exhaust look alot better in the back.

Ryan: I will be getting with you in a month or so..i need a test pipe. Untill then keep making great products.

Well i called UPS yesterday and made a claim. I called Ryan and told him what was going on so if they called he wouldnt be shocked when UPS called him. I will keep everyone posted but if i know UPS, their response will be claim denied due to improper packing. That is the way they deny every claim and there does not seem to be a way to get around it.

Hi. I just have to apologize on this thread to RNR Racing because i am Phuck Up! I am retard. By the way, RNR, this is Eric Gray([email protected]). I thought RNR had made a mistake, but really the mistake was made by me because I was under the impression of one thing when it really was something else. I didnt know the difference of some of the exhaust terms and what they were for and I thought they had sent me the wrong thing when they sent me exactly what I ordered, which really was no big deal. I ordered turbo back 3in exhaust with 02 eliminator with internal dump. What i thought was o2 eliminator was actually an external dump. I dont know why? And so I had the internal dump ordered with the o2 elim not realizing that the external dump was what i was thought i was ordering. No biggie. I am happy with it now that i realized that i screwed up. Nothing was wrong except for a bent exhaust tip which is no big deal. I can straighten it or put a different one on later. I just wanted to deface myself for a moment here on the message board for RNR's sake. I feel like a moron. I am a moroon. I dont know how to apologize after accusing them of being mistakend when i was mistaken to begin with. Though it did take over a month for the exhaust, its all good. I cant wait to put it on. The product is good. Welds are nice. Piping is straight. All in all great deal. But I am still deeply regret what I did. Hopefully they will understand. Thanks.

damn dude, i think you could have just said "i'm sorry", i would have got the message, LOL... Dont take it so hard on yourself. We all make mistakes, like sometimes i feel like this damn DSM is the biggest mistake i made. LOL. Hopefully it will be running in the next year so i can see what AWD and some bad ass shit will do to some of these snot nose LS1's. But until then i am just a bench racer. "oh yea, ill kick your ass when i get my car running!!". I think they will forgive you if you go to church and ask for all your sins to be forgiven. Maybe and only maybe then will they save you from going to ... Well you know!!! HAHA!! Forgive him guys, i do and he didnt even do anything to me...

DusktilDawn, it's not a big deal we were ready to send you out a replacement as soon as we heard back from you. We thought we messed up your order. Good news that you got what you wanted. I guess UPS doesn't treat the packages real well, which sucks. We have only had a couple complaints of damage which is a pretty small number.

I appreciate your patience with me. Thanks for understanding. I love DSM's. They have never failed me (knock on wood a few thousand times) because i have seen some fail before. PS...anyone know where i can get some exhuast clamps from so i dont have to weld my exhaust together?? Thanks!

buschur racing sells some clamps that cover the connection rather than crush so you can take it off later if needed and reuse the clamps. I have never seen mine fail either because it was already failed when i bought it and have never had it running since. LOL.
