Quick and easy question...Does anyone have a 2gen DSM with a right-hand coversion...i was thinking on doing one if possible and it would be unique to have...I have been on Germany's EBAY and have found right hand eclipse or d30..they call it...but complete cars for sale...maybe an idea..:thumb:....any ideas or places would be great!

Ya, just figured that out...the car i saw was a custom conversion....and now my dreams are broken...i realized that...hahaha...thanks for the help.

If you really want RHD and/or want to be unique, have an FTO shipped over from Australia or Japan. Then get ready for: "wow! it's that pseudo-DSM from GT4!"

FTO and DSMs are two fully separated things..
one of my frends has got one FTO from UK.. I saw that car, i was drove that car..
FTOs are not too impressive cars..

but so many RHD 3000GT-s are in UK..

I'm quite aware of that, which is why I didn't suggest that the OP claim it to be a DSM, but said, instead, to get ready for the Great Unwashed to say so.

[Note to self: How many times, Toby, have I had to remind you to stay out of the Appearance forum? 20? 30? You claim to be a primate, but you seem incapable of learning. sigh]

Or, go to Nassau (I was just there over the weekend on a cruise). I saw a 1997 RHD Supra Turbo, completely stock, for sale for $3000 US. But, I couldn't fit it in my luggage. :(

Is that defiants avatar? haha too funny!

RHD DSM would be unique as hell. If possible, custom fab work would cost a ton, but it would be cool to see one done.

OFF TOPIC: jtmcinder, i like the profile picture. Did you drive there just to get a shot like DEFIANTS?

I didn't want this to go on...i understand that it is not the Honda World and these cars were american built...and for the FTO it isn't the best, but i give it credit..and Yes, it would be unique to have something like it...just saying.

my friend is working on a 3000gt vr4 right hand conversion he had the parts shipped from australia
Pretty excited to see the way it turns out

They have RHD vr4s already so there's nothing "exciting" about that really. A one of a kind setup on a dsm would be nice to see, even though it would be a was of money.

 obviously I know they have RHD since the parts are getting shipped from Australia
but how often do you see one in the US? or actually seen it being built? that is why I said im excited because im actually seeing all the hard work involved in converting it to RHD

Actually, what if you did what was done in that picture, but just had it all hidden under the dash? That would be cool :thumb:

That belt will never break from the minor strain of steering the car, it could however come off the pulley which would be bad.
