I have a 90 talon and I picked up a min 90's TB(bigger). Would anyone know how to rewire the TPS or does the 90 tps bolt right up? I have no clue

Do you mean perhaps you bought a MID 90's TB? If so, Im not sure if the 90 TPS will bolt up, however, it will be very simple to determine this. Just unbolt each TPS and swap. If the bolt holes line up, and youre able to turn the TPS throughout its range of adjustment on the later model TB, youre good to go, however, you will also want to examine the design of the flange the TPS sits on, as well as the design of the shaft to confirm proper fitment and operation. If all looks well, you can mount the sensor on the new TB and plug the sensor into the car and have someone open and close the new tb by hand (You can do this with the new TB off the car, just mount and plug in the sensor) as you examine the TPS value on the logger to confirm its sitting at 10.5% at the closed position and 99+% at full open. You will first have to adjust the TPS to 10.5% closed on the logger and tighten the bolts before performing this test. Make sense??

Awesome thats what i was looking for! Thank you. One other thing, wiring the newer one up is it straight top wire to top wire and so on or is it color coded the same?

Yes perhaps I had purchaced a MID 90 TB. I can try to bolt it up and run through the steps.but i need to drive the car and not mess around. There are very intellegent people on this site that help out and I have paid back to the site by helping others.

1 question why would I be setting my tps to 10.5% when closed?

Regarding the TPS in closed position, you used to have to adjust the TPS by voltage, using a multimeter, the voltage of a properly adjusted TPS translates to 10.5% on the logger- MMCD, specifically. Just a lot quicker and easier way to set it is all.
