reviews and ratings of a shephard transmission?

WHats anybodys thoughts on a Shepherd transmission? Do they put a good 1/3 of a second on a 1/4? what is the gear ratio? All of these questions I was wondering if it is worth getting.

If your really wondering if sheps trannys are worth it, you shouldnt be buying one. This guy does top notch work, and its been proven for 10+ years. If anything, you should just call the shop and talk to them.

Sorry man, they only rebuild dsm transmissions (gtrs too).

I would try looking for someone who rebuilds dodge neons.

There are only a couple guys who build the T350 including myself. I don't think Shep does anything with them. The others you could find on the neons.org forums with some searching. I have done a few performance ones and have all the tools to work on them.

What kind of realistic power goals are you looking for? Which clutch are you running? What type of driving are you doing with the car? Street car/autoX/drag racing/circle track/road racing? Which front diff to you want to use? Do you need a different gear ratio than stock? If so, what gears are you wanting changed? Are you currently having shifting issues with your trans? If so, what problems does it have? Mileage currently on transmission?
