2G Rev9/eBay 20g turbo

Hello DSM people, I’ve been running this rev9 20g eBay turbo on my car for a couple years now and it’s been great until recently, because the waste gate valve has gotten very loose, but this turbo has been great to me and has seen 320whp at 28psi.

I was just wondering if anyone has also run a rev9/eBay turbo on their Eclipse and what numbers have you seen? I’m thinking of getting another one to replace my current one since it has treated me well. If anyone has run this turbo has anyone seen numbers 350whp+?

What do you mean "gotten loose". It's a simple flapper. Elaborate please.

I saw that but it wasn't answered. I'm curious if the flapper shifted over. I've seen that in OEM housings. Couple smack with a hammer and push it back in place. That one is hard to spot if you don't know what to look for but a loose arm or loose actuator at the compressor housing. Those should be caught.

Usually the pressed in collar that the flapper arm passes through in those ebay housings works loose and needs to be pressed back in and welded in place. Basically the flapper ends up not covering the whole wastegate port.

Yup. Seen it many times. Hard to spot for the newbies.

It still seems to.be concentric. Pulled tight i don't see why that wouldn't cover the hole.
