i need to know if anyone has used this turbo before GODSPEED super 20g turbo eclipse 4g63 dsm 1g 2g 450hp: eBay Motors (item 160467509181 end time Aug-18-10 15:03:34 PDT)

this looks like a Hahn RaceCraft 20g....i know that it ant a true Hahn RaceCraft 20g but can't i just rebuild and it be perfect????

if you were to tri to rebuild it with an mhi kit the journal bearings from the kit wont work. those ebay turbos use a larger turbine shaft. Now if you are talking about replacing the turbine and shaft then the compressor wheel wont fit so you would have to replace it to plus the rebuild kit you are getting up there in money even if you do it yourself you are looking at what 300 for the turbo, 150 for the turbine wheel and shaft then, another 100 for the compressor wheel, and another 100 for the rebuild kit and all these are just ruff ideas so you would be lookin atleast 650 if you did it all yourself and around 1000 if you had a shop do it. youd be better off dropping a 14b off at a turbo shop and having them convert it to a 20g for you or just buying a real mhi 20g you can usualy get them for around 500. also IMO ebay turbos are hit and miss i have used a couple in the past as an emergency turbo to get me by till i could get a good one and had no problem and have had others that smoked from the second i put them on.
