have a 90 oil filter housing that i wanna get an after market oil cooler for. are there any moving parts in it that can go bad that'd be reason for me needing to buy a new one? or can i reuse this one? building a stroker motor so wanna make surer it'll be okay. thanks! scott

As long as the pressure relief valve spring is within specs, the plunger moves freely in the bore and the thermostat is up to snuff, it is OK to reuse it. Don’t forget to modify the pressure relief system to avoid too high oil pressures. And of course clean it and make sure the sealing surfaces are OK. Now is the time to rethread some holes for aftermarket senders that you should have installed before you start the engine.
On another note don’t be shy to use capital letters in your posts.
