both of them use the tdo5h turbine housing. Search "difference from 14b and 16g" Post a pic up itll help> see if you can get the fins in the pic. If they have the dual blade setup then its the small 16g if they are single blades it should be the 14b...

Td05h is only half of the turbo, the end connected to the exhaust. Both 16g and 14b use the same exhaust section. 14b, or 16g is a designation for the other end of the turbo, the end that blows the air into the engine. Mitsubishi turbos are labeled usually with a number followed by a,b,c,g, or t for the compressor section, and td0x, td0xl, td0xh, or td0xhl for the turbine.

Yep, that's a 14b. The easy way to tell next time is to search the forums for the number on the compressor housing (49178-01400).

google the nubers and it should help, but its more that likely a 14b. from my eyes

yea should be easy to tell the difference becuz the 14b compressor wheel looks different than 16g.
