[RESOLVED] so i picked up a head today

i got a head today for $50 its a non turbo head i jsut wanted to make sure everythign is the same for the 1g 6bolt head, i plan on building this head to put on my car i just wanted to make sure the valves, lifters, rockers, and springs are all the same,

I just went to the junkyard and pulled a head off of an 1G NT for my rebuild too. From what I have read, everything is the same except for the cams. You should be fine reusing the parts you listed.

nothign is being reused at all, and i know the cams are diff, i was wondering like if the valves were the same size, i cant find out for sure until tuesday at work, but yea im getting hks cams, bc springs and retainers, si valves new lifters

Valves are the same ,just be sure to change the lifters they are the same though.Just had a lifter fail on me and costed me a bent intake valve,so i went back to the junk yard and got another $45.Here it is after i got it from the machine shop yesterday.Oh i got new revised lifters from extreme psi

Parts are all the same even with the 2G's. As redyute1 said get new lifters. Partsdinosaur has them cheap ($5.39/ea).
