Need to know the exact differences between a 1g 7 bolt crank to a 2g 95-96 7 bolt crank. Had caught my crankwalk in time to save the block but not the crank and would like to know if a 1g crank will fit in it. My buddy said that I would have to use 6 bolt bearings in the motor but would like to hear some definites on this. Thanks in advanced.

All the 7 bolt DSM cranks are the same. Its ONLY the 6 bolt that has different dimensions in the crank. Its a little beefier. The 6 bolt only came in the 89-92. Some of the late 92's had a 7 bolt thought.
