[RESOLVED] car will not go into reverse gear

I got done tightening up all my intake pipes to get rid of any potential boost leaks. I backed out of the driveway fine. It always whines in reverse, and sometimes will require a little wiggle to get into reverse completely. And I suppose on occasion, reverse will grind. I got into boost and the car ran great. So I pull up to a building and try to put it into reverse to back up and turn around. The bi*** just wouldn't go though. It seemed like going from 5th to reverse every time. Just like hitting a wall. It wouldn't go in though. All other gears shift perfectly.... well second gear does get a little bit notchy from time to time, but nothing major like grinding or anything.

What could cause my car to suddenly not go into reverse? Thanks guys!

In neutral with the clutch out push the clutch in, then run through 1-5 before you go into reverse. This should let you go into reverse.

I did that.. and nothing.

But I have good news! One of the t-clamps that I had on my j-pipe was spun around and the part sticking out was blocking the shifter arm under the hood. That was my problem
