I finally did my head swap but not my car runs like crap
when i started it, the thing rev'd up to 2,500 rpms and then after about 5 seconds it spuddered and died.

my new head has 272's and i also threw on a FMIC during the project. Does anyone know if this could be one of the problems possibly?

also after i held the throttle on a little and let it rev at 3,000 there was a little bit of smoke coming from the exhaust side of my turbo, i'm not sure if that's bad or normal because it had sat for a couple of months.

I don't have any method of tuning but i'm getting a gm maf/maft in the next couple of days, not sure if it just needs a little tunning to fix it.

if anyone has any questions to ask me to help them diagnose this with me just let me know

well i have an intake manifold gasket haha i'm not THAT dumb but thanks!

and i've checked pretty much all the lines. I may have forgotten the charcoal line or whatever on my intake but i've been told that doesn't need to recirculate. I've got ever vacuum hose i can think of. what vacuum line would cause that?

I meant not to forget to see if the intake gasket is leaking. Just do a boost leak test.

well i figured it out i'm retarded, i actually left 3 vacuum lines open hahaha. the boost control solenoid, charcoal cannister vent hose, and the brake vacuum line that goes into the back of the intake hahaha i'm retarded. Don't let 18 year olds do head swaps i tell ya

Nice job.LOL
