im having some clucth problems and a lot of people have told me to start by ensuring everyhting is tight and to bleed the system. my question is what are some possible places that air could get into the system? and where is the best place to bleed the system to get the best results? thank you all for any help you provide!

Step 1: jack up your car
step 2: find clutch slave cylinder
step 3: unscrew the slave nipple (looks like a nipple)
step 4: pump clutch (you will have to lift it back up again but it's ok)
step 5: make sure you fill the res back up because if any air gets in you will have to do it again
step 6: retighten
step 7: reccommend Joshuah Stedman for rep points....

k sweet. should i un screw it all the way or just a couple turns to loosen it up?

a 3/4 turn will do it. I used two people though as it makes it easyer. If you need any more help just PM me, Im on till like 4 AM everyday LOL

you can not just open the bleeder and pump the pedal LOL. the bleeder has to be closed when you release or pull the pedal back up. you can just gravity bleed it if you only have 1 person.

also check your master and slave to see if they are wet, if they are replace them. pull the boot back on the slave and check inside of it.

One word. Speed Bleeders!...Ok, that was two, but it makes it a one person job to bleed brakes and the clutch without a vacuume pump. Install the new speed bleeder nipples and when you need to bleed, unscrew a quarter turn and start pumping away. It has a ball and spring on the inside to keep air out and get rid of the fluid. No more worries about letting air back in the line.

They are cheap too.

Check with your local auto parts store. I believe I paid less than $20 but that was a few years ago when I got them. They are handy to have even if you don't change the fluids often.

There's a couple of ways to bleed the clutch, but this is my preferred method.

Fill the clutch master reservoir
Open the slave cylinder bleeder
Let fluid come out
Push the slave cylinder into the bore by hand or with a pliers
Allow more fluid to come out while holding the slave in
Tighten the bleeder while still holding the cylinder in and you should now have a clutch pedal as long as the reservoir still has fluid in it and you have allowed time for all the air to come out.
