General [Resolved] 95 ECU in a 1G?

I've been watching eBay lately for EPROM ECU's. Right now there are two that I'm watching, both end in just over a day. The first one is a '93, the second one is a '95. The '95 right now is about 1/3 the price of the '93. If it stays that much lower, how much work does it take to hook the 2g unit up to my 1g?

I know some people have done it for DSMLink, I don't plan on getting DSMLink, just a chip or maybe do some research and try burning my own. Will it be worth the extra work if the price difference stays around $100. Also, I have a '90, I think I remember reading that to get a '91-'94 ECU to work on my car I have to swap to pins on the ECU wire harness.

Is this correct, and which wires do I swap?

It is hours of work to build an adaptor harness.

Additionally, unless you use DSMLink the 2g ECU is going to be worse than the 1g ECU, for lots of reasons. Less aggressive timing, worse datalogging, etc.
