[RESOLVED] 90 coil work in 91?

Will a 90 coil work in a 91?

I have a problem and I'm sure its the coil and I have a 90 coil laying around.

I'm typing from blackberry

Yep ive swapped many from 1g dsm no problems.

Okay until I get it home I wont be able to find out what the real problem is but I'm sure its that.

the 1990 ignition coil had a 4 pin connector and the 91-99's (i think) have the 3 pin triangle connector, dont think it will work, ive also tried swapping just the coil and that didnt work for me either, i didnt make spark on any plugs. =(

Bluegs03 is correct about the difference in plugs for the coil packs. Glance through this write up and you will see why.

Its not the coil its the power tr unit.

That plug is different too.
