So my recirculation hose, has cracked and duck tape if currently holding the air in, I need to know what would be the best thing to replace it with, i'm thinking of getting some metal piping from the auto parts store and cut it to fit, but is there any type of metal, that emits sound very well, so the ricer side of me, can hear my BOV better!

No I don't think metal will change the sound and I personally think that there is no reason to use metal, just take the hose off and match it for the same thing at the auto parts store. they got to have somthing similar to it, just use rubber. It will be easyer and better.:thumb: Good luck bro!

^ well to tell you the truth, I'm thinking of just buying the Dejon Intake tube if it's worth it, does the stock rubber hose, really constrict flow too much?

Actually if you replace the plastic hose with a metal pipe, then yes it will make it louder, since plastic/rubber doesn't reflect sound as much as metal. There's a thread somewhere on here about it...I'm trying to find it. Anyways, people buy a metal pipe intended for a sink (kitchen..bathroom..whatever) & hack it to make it fit.

You can use anything to recirculate it, really..plastic hose, water bottle..whatever, as long as it doesn't leak & gets the air recirculated back into the intake like it's supposed to.

It can be found in the plumbing dept. at home depot. It's for a toilet. You'll know exactly what I'm talking about when you see it, it's shaped like the rubber hose but its metal. Then you can use tire hose and clamps to hold it on. Yes it does change the sound too.

^LOL, well kinda of goes hand in hand, being in the toilet section, since the tube, does deal with expelled gasesROFL
