Does anyone know of a replacement antenna that does not retract or stick 10ft into the air.LOL

I had mine ripped off and now I only get 1 channel and its not the best.

I want to get a static antenna that sits low and I can get my radio channels.

Oh nice!
Ill look Into that thank you.

I contacted the seller. He said he is all out of them.
So any other options?

I would like to have a hidden antenna. But what about the hole for the one that's already there?
That hidden antenna you linked, just a plug n play?

When I removed my antenna I just got a plug from a Honda dealer. It's black but it sealed it up pretty good. I'll post the part number if I can find it again

Edit: found it on my phone.

If you have the embedded antennae in the glass you'll find it's a gray wire running down the passenger side of the car and ending behind the dash near the radio area. The plug is a smaller version of the normal antennae plug, and to use it you'll need an adapter. I was told you can get that adapter from Radio Shack amongst other places.

I've heard it works from some, and from others that it doesn't work well enough, but I haven't yet tried it out myself.

I may have to try this. I remember unpluging that small grey plug when removing my old stock deck and replacing it with a pioneer unit. A few winters ago my antenna mast broke and I never fixed it because I hated the tall antenna anyway. Im goning to see if I can find the adapter so that I can use the window antenna on my pioneer head unit.

I think this is the type of adapter you need to try this out:

I contacted the people in that link you posted to find out how long the cord is for the hidden antenna. They said they have never sold one and could not tell me how long the cord is but would guess that the length is 6-12inches. So I will keep looking. As far as having one in my windshield is this the connector?

I dont want a crappy signal so would I want to even bother with it?

Just wanted to update this. I went out today to see if I could find the gray wire. Well I did, and the P.O chopped it off right before it is able to get past the passenger seat. Its all there coming from rear window but going towards the radio its all gone LOL.

If anyone has any experience with a hidden antenna let me know. All I can find is that they work but reception is not the greatest. I live in a valley and even with the stock antenna reception was not the best.

If all else fails I will just get a short antenna from radio shack.

That's unfortunate that the wire was cut.. Might as well just get one of the hidden antennas and keep the receipts and stuff in case you find it not worth the cost. If that doesn't work maybe get a new HU with satellite radio? :idontknow:
