2G Antenna Question

What's up guys, I have a 97 GS with an aftermarket mp3/cd/radio and the 2G extending antenna. The antenna is wired in stock position, I assume, in which it extends when I turn on my car. My question is, I was wondering if, and how so, there was a way that could I wired the antenna line to so that the antenna only extends when I turn on my aftermarket mp3/cd/radio? Thanks,

I suppose if you wired the switched power wire to the remote wire on the head unit it would do it?

^ That, or some after market radio's have a line specifically for a power antenna.

Yes there is an orange wire that is on the back of the new deck that is ran to the power antena. It should be labled power antena.
