Well, one of the main parts of this nightmare of a 14b upgrade has been my issues with ECU's. Bad sockets, bad EPROMS, just a nightmare altogether.

All I'm really wondering here is does anyone repair EPROM's other than ECMtuning and dsmchips? Jeff isn't available for another 5 or so days, and I sent an ECU to ECM on 2 day shipping, its been 4 days later, and they haven't gotten it, so with the way my luck is going, in about a week I'll get it back stamped RETURN TO SENDER.

I have my original ECU(with the bad socket and chip) And I'm just wondering if there's anyone, whether it be a member of dsmtuners, or ANYONE that can repair the bad socket on my ECU(by either jumpering it or otherwise) because I'm really sick and tired of this.

Thanks guys, let me know!

Send a message to Steve here on Tuners. He does great work and knows his stuff. Here is his website: DSM ECU Services. I sent my faulty ecu to him and he fixed all the problems it had quickly with good service.
