long story short i threw a rod in my 95 so i got a new (to me) block. Im trying to remove the rods and pistons from the block... WHAT IN THE HECK is the name of the tool i need? i believe its called a journal protector but i could quite possibly be mistaken xD and if so, where in the world can i find one? ive asked all my tuner friends, local shops Pep Boys, Autozone you name it... any suggestions or tips would be much appreciated!!! :sneaky:

Is the head already off? If your trying to remove the rods then drop the oil pan rod bolts are a 12m take two out then turn the crank to remove the other two. I just got doing this a hour ago
