So I bought 2 quarts of mt 85. Do I need 3 and if so what can I mix with it I don't feel like waiting for another bottle to come in the mail

You can mix pretty much any Redline GL-4 product. MTL and MT-90 being the obvious choices.

AWD trans takes 2.3 quarts. Many people, including myself use this concoction:

Tranny: 1 qt. Redline MT-90, 1 qt. Redline MTL, 1 qt. Redline Heavyweight Shockproof.

Transfer Case: Redline Heavyweight Shockproof.

Rear Diff: Redline Heavyweight Shockproof.

I guess the question is, what are you wanting to mix it with? Many guys have been known to run GM/Penzoil Syncromesh as well. Not sure how well that would mix though.

1 bottle of redline heavyweight shockproof for t case

3 bottles of redline mt-90 for trans

That's all you need, you don't need to mix all kinds of fluids together.

OP has a GST. Tranny takes 1.95qts, so he should be good with 2 bottles
