rebuilt motor revs on start

i have a 91 gst few mods balance shafts are gone new cams and 880cc pte injectors also a dsmlink.I just put the motor back in. when i go to start it, it revs to 4k and holds for about fifteen seconds then dies. any help would be great

I have a similar problem on a stock motor. Check your VAC hoses is what i've been told.

Come to think of it the screw could be maladjusted or the throttle cable could be the wrong tension...

That'd be a heckova leak. Could be your BISS is waaaaay out of whack I.e. busted o-ring etc. But, a boost leak test couldn't hurt and you'd be wise to check your isc while you are at it. Other than those things, my knowledge isn't in depth enough to assist you further unfortunately. Perhaps there is another thread with similarities that might help?

Thanks for the input. I will try the biss first, i have a 2g intake sitting in the garage. Would this isc work on the 1g or do i need a 1g isc to replace mine with?

Also anyone else with suggestions through them out here i will take all i can get!

Start with checking on the throttle cable. Make sure it's not too tight keeping the throttle plate open.

Took the throttle cable off thats not it. Also tryed hooking up my dsmlink but it wont connect with the computer anyone no anything about this
