Any updates? Im curious to see how it is going to look all finished

No updates as of yet. I havent had any time to work on the car since its exam week so its been taking up all of my time. But I'm looking to work on it this weekend. I also decided to change a few things once I got the motor back in so its taking alittle longer than expected.

Here was my original list of mods that I was going to be doing. The bold print are things that were added or changed.

Replaced piston rings

Stock bottom end
Balance shafts removed
Ported oil relief valve.

Car is finally off of jackstands, now just waiting on the FMIC to get here to finish this project up.

Which FMIC are you going with, the Punishment Racing one is good for the money, but you have to tweak it and modify it quite a bit to make it fit, even though it's "made for a 1g 5spd dsm".

I went with the VR Speed kit, bigger core than the punishment racing and it was cheaper, while still using short route piping.




Well it should hopefully be up and running by this weekend.
