Rebuild and rebuild costs

So guys my engine is totally done... And I was thinking about the cost of building an engine... Or should I give up and buy a Buschur or Slowboy block? I am also seriously thinking about a 6 bolt, actually I have one sitting at a friend's house.

But my estimate comes up to around $3,500.00 with the cams.

I have a AGP T3/T4 and I want to push this to the max and be safe. So here is my rebuild list.

Head:

$280.00 Crower Titanium Valve springs and retainers
$450.00 FP1X intake cam/FP2 Exhaust cam

Block:

$780.00 Wiesco Pistons and Rods
$ 95.00 Mitsubishi 4 Layer Metal Head Gasket

Misc stuff:

$ 59.00 1G water pump
$230.00 Mitsubishi Gasket Set
$150.00 1G Altenator
$150.00 Timing Belt

Machine Shop work estimate of $1300.00 ? Is that a good estimate?

And should I not do both the pistons and rods or should I just do it since I have it out? and do I need a new crank shaft? Please let me know....

Seems like its time for a built 6 bolt. You may want to look into all the different heads out there too. Do alot of research before you come to a conclusion, but seriously take a good look at the 6 bolt swap.

I think you need to figure out what you want out of the car and how much you want to spend to achieve that goal. That way you can budget both ways to make the car perform how you want!

oh sorry to confuse you guys... I am talking about building the 6 bolt for the swap over... These are my current mods...

I am looking to get 450 whp on race fuel... and 400whp on 93.. Trying to max out the turbo pretty much... I also want to run it efficiently and have it streetable... Yes I know this is FWD but I want it semi streetable.

Name brand SS valves stock size will be fine for you HP desires... Ferrea SS on ebay are about $200-250 which is damn cheap...Ive also seen crower springs and retainers on there for $200 (all of this is NEW from stores not used parts)

Look at Rockville mitsubishi (they have a site under construction) and or JNZ tuning, their mitsu gasket kits are $180ish I called a few days back, thats a lot less then $230 (my dealer matched the price otherwise I would have ordered it already)

Dont forget a new front case(oil pump) and the 2 new revised gears... dont want to see a fresh motor die from a bad pump

If you need part numbers I have a ton of OEM part numbers on hand as I just ordered everything I needed to do my 6bolt swap and rebuild.
