I bought a Timken Rear wheel bearings/hub. Made round 6k miles, and the bearing are shot now wtf? Im trying to figure out, what could cause my bearings to go bad in such a short time? I found another two. one of them is Timken and NTP As you can see, its a big price different which company should i go with??

have other bad components would cause it to go bad faster. Everything has a roll in what it does. Unbalanced wheels bad axles etc...... things that cause a vibration would cause the sealed bearing cartridge in the hub to go bad.

my wheels are not aligned and i got bad ball joints in rear... would that be the prob for the bearings ?

With the other components in the rear end bad would cause your bearings to go bad. Usually when you install new bearings they are good but with the rear end messed up it throws everything different ways causing extra stress on the wheels, how do teh tires look? weird tread wear there should be some visual's as you already know about the ball joints, have you checked your toe-ends yet?

the inside part of the tires are bad, i could see wires already :(. i replaced every bushing with "Energy susspension" ones.left old bad ball joints in a rear, got old control arms. The tie rods are new (front and rear)

I would say that you should def replace the ball joints when you install the new bearings, and then make the appt to get the car aligned at a shop will make your life alot easier and save you some cash instead of buying new tires every cpl of months, remember you have to do it right the first time but It's a lesson learned nothing to get to upset aboutjust sucks because you have to put more money onto something already replaced

I would say you should buy OEM for stuff that like. Make sure that your axle nuts are tight as well. The OEM rear hubs are like 150 bucks. Also look for parting out evos with low miles. They carry the same rear wheel bearing as the 2g DSM

i have the same problem loud roaring sounds. bad ball joints lowered any damaged or modified parts in suspension will decrease bearing life
