I know it's not good to do what I'm doing, so I want to ask a couple of questions.
Are there any dangers of running a re-wired supra pump, an Afpr and stock 450's on an 18g at 15psi.
It pulls hard and smooth.
I did a BLT, and I can put 25psi in the system and it takes over 30 seconds to fall past 20 psi, so I guess that's a pretty good indication the system is almost leak free.
I did find a tiny leak at the TB Elbow and TB interface, but it's very small.

I doesn't feel like timing is being pulled at all up top, but you can definitely feel the nice smooth acceleration of the timing advancing.
I don't hear any pinging, so by traditional standards I'm not getting any pre-ignition.
I've since turned it down to 12psi, and it seems to not run as smoothly.
It's way smoother at 15psi.
I would imagine I'm maxing out the IDC's for the 450's, but there's plenty of fuel with the rewired pump.
I checked the plugs and they are nice and tan, not white, or showing any signs of aluminum deposits from the pistons melting due to running lean.
I don't drive the car too hard, except for those bitchin on ramp moments. Getting on freeways :rocks: .

I know I should have a logger and I wouldn't be asking these questions if I did, but I just would like to hear what you guys think.

I will be installing DSMLink and my 720's this weekend, so I will finally get her tuned.

Uhh thats very dangerous what your doing. My car feels so good at 15psi but my stock fuel pump will not keep up. With the timing pull its still feels smoother and hits way harder when boost kicks in that at 13psi. I guess what im saying is you can still be getting knock without getting so bad of timing pull that you feel it.

I was afraid someone was going to say that.
I have a rewired supra pump, but stock injectors.
Where's the threshold for the injectors?
What about fuel cut?
What does it feel like?
My GST had a speed limiter, and I hit that once at 133... and the car fell on it's face.
I've never felt anything like that if that's what fuel cut feels like.
I read threads about guys hitting fuel cut all the time.
Is that any less dangerous?
I'll take it easy on my way home this evening, but like I said, I will be installing the Link and my 720's and hopefully get some tuning done this weekend.

Fuel cut is actually not really bad. If you experience it with a 2g maf this is telling you that there is a boost leak and you are overworking the turbo. Causing it to pull more air and over run the maf. So it has nothing to do with fuel delivery.

The problem with the pump is that you are most likely running a little rich. Even if you set the FP to stock it seems to push more fuel, at least it did on my brothers car. With the AFPR and 255 installed it ran real rich even at 37psi FP.

I would just stay out of boost till you get the dsmlink and 720's. After that you will be having some fun. If you can I would go with larger injectors since you are getting link. If you have e85 fuel in your area you may switch over one day. My mechanic is running 1600cc injectors fine with dsmlink on e85 fuel.

I would imagine I'm running rich.
But not rich enough to blacken my white rear bumper.
I bought the car with the DSMLink program and connector, the 720's and a socketed ECU for the 720's, so that's why I have them.
When I buy injectors, I'll probably buy some 1000's.
I've been very interested in running e85, but I haven't seen any pumps yet.
I do have access to 95 and 100 octane VP at the pump.
Haven't checked in to that yet, but I plan too soon :sneaky: .
I am also interested in running a h20/meth injection system too...
Thanks for all of your info.
