I have everything done, done porting and everything is about to be put back together. I am just a little confused about connecting the vacuum lines back together. On the vfaq and RRE techs it said this

"If you are still running with your EGR, the following will be necessary for proper EGR
It's simple, cap off the E line as well as the angled line (marked A1 or something). Then with a T, split the P line to go to where P and E used to go.

In effect drive the E line, (EGR) with the source from P. "

That doesn't make sense to me, can someone clarify this for me before I start it up.
Thanks

Ok Now I'm confused. What you told me is completely different from what it states on the RRE website. It seems real simple what it states on the RRE site but confused on the

"It's simple, cap off the E line as well as the angled line (marked A1 or something). Then with a T, split the P line to go to where P and E used to go. "

correct me if i'm wrong but do I cap the E line, then cap the angle line(it says A2 on my 1g TB). then i take the vacuum hose that connects to the P line and split it with a tee and hook up the E line to the tee in the middle of the P line? thanks

No, that is the correct way to do it, just more detailed. If you take a look at the vacuum line diagram in that same thread (two posts above the one I linked you to), you'll see that the vacuum line coming off of the P nipple already has a tee in it from the factory. Then you go and add another tee to drive the stuff that was attached to the E nipple. Just take a look at where the vacuum lines run in their stock form on that diagram and you'll see that it's kind of confusing to begin with.

Yeah I don't care really. My car is for "off road" use anyway. TO block the EGR I heard it would be easier to just plug the EGR instead of putting a plate, it would save time and money. I actually read it in a thread on here. Is this possible? Thanks

ok here's the update. I took out the charcoal canister with all those lines connected to it. took out the lines from the solinoids that go to the TB and EGR. plugged the EGR ports. and there was one line that came from the firewall that connected to the charcoal canister. I don't know what that is but I plugged that too. I think its the fuel tank breather? Was I supposed to cap that? THanks
