1g tb install on a 2g

i have a 1g tb sitting around the house, it is off my brothers 91 tsi awd. he put a 4.6L stang tb on his car.

is it a worthwhile mod?
is there anything special i need to do other than bolting it on?
got any tips for me?

by the way i don't wanna do this mod unless it really helps, my car has enough mods for me to not want to put on some jimmy rigged can't affourd to mod my car bs

Don't forget to take full advantage of that mod you'll have to port the intake to the same size of the TB.
I just did that mod because I also had one lying around at home, I didn't notice any difference, if I had payed for the TB I would've been pissed
