Quick 16g install on 2g question

can the stock oil return line be used or do i need a 1g one ? i would like the one FP has but i can't find anything like it anywhere else and i can't find it separate from the install kit.

www.roadraceengineering.com will sell a full kit, a partial kit, or any individual piece of the kit you want.

But you can just take a thing metal file, file the bolt holes from the return line going into the turbo inwards and it will work. Took me about 20 minutes to match them up. Make sure you have the turbo close by s you can check your progress.

i have in my possesion about 3 inches of the top of a 1g feed line it's cut off i heard i can cut off the bottom of my 2g and get a hose to link them.

That honestly dosen't sound like a good idea. I dunno about other people on the forum, but that's one line I wouldn't cut.

Full Kit Install

It would be smarter to either
A: File yours down
B: Purchase another one all together.

i heard the stock ones can crack, but if you put a flexable line between them it'll be better... like the fp one that comes with the install kit

O, I hear yah. The one they sell is definately nice bro. Why not just purchase the line and be safe? I would rather spend $40-50 bucks rather then chancing an oil leak.

That is the answer. NOthing like searcing for an oil leak only to find it there. Just do it right the first time and be done with it.

i cut mine to relieve the presure on the line (bending, crappy fit) and put a rubber hose in it.. no leaks. no probs.

I used a Dremel-- worked fine after I got a good cutting bit. And I just used the new gasket as a guide to measure progress.
