I know I know, not ANOTHER one of these threads. Just a few things I was confused about and also I wanted to keep this open in case I run into any other issues.

Ok, I ordered a 2g install kit for a 16g turbo, it came with a SS oil feed line, the kit was suppose to utilize part of the stock oil feed line. I came to this conclusion because it only has one banjo fitting and on the other side I believe is the adapter to connect to the stock oil feed line. I am planning on feeding it from the head, can I just order another banjo fitting and banjo bolt and use the same SS line? Or do I need to order a 1g oil feed line?

When I did research (Searching these forums) some say the stock oil feed line have an oil restrictor in them, some said the banjo fitting is the oil restrictor. I tried to fit the banjo fitting that is suppose to hook up to the turbo and attempted to hook it up to the head (For shits n giggles) and the banjo bolt did not fit (was too big).

you should have got a L shaped thing that bolts to you oil filter housing, if you want the head then you need a small male to mail adapter that will fit into the head then you oil line.

If you look into your turbo's oil feed you will see a built in restrictor, its impossible to join the oil line to your stock one unless its some type of push tab to banjo.

Yes, I got a L shaped adapter "thing". Where do I get the small male to male adapter? Is it going to be ok to use the SS oil feed line that does not have an oil restrictor?

there is no problem getting oil from the oil filter housing. Prior to me running a ball bearing turbo this is where i always got my oil feed from. DO NOT use a fitting with a restrictor!, these are for use with a ball bearing turbo ONLY - which as you know your 16g is not. Good luck, the 16g was my favorite street turbo on my 2g, I had alot of fun with mine.

That SS line is gonna be way too long to feed from the head. You'll have to get a 1g feed line. Some people like feeding from the head because that's the way Mitsubishi turbos are fed from the factory.

Yes, I am ordering a 1g oil feed line from the dealer tomorrow along with 2 banjo bolts and 2 banjo fittings. Thanks to all so far for giving feedback!

Leading to my next question, I noticed the s16g does not have a nipple like the T-25 where I hooked up my MBC although there is a threaded hole near the turbo inlet where the intake connects to the turbo. Now there is a nipple on my 90 degree pipe that I got with a 2g install kit for the 16g that the j pipe connects to in which the 90 degree pipe connects into my lower intercooler piping.

Do I thread a nipple into the turbo inlet or do I use the nipple on the 90 degree pipe, if not the 90 degree pipe what is the nipple used for? SOLVED
