I am new to dsm's, infact i have only had one other turbo'd vehicle and it was a diesel truck, and it had wastegates. I was wondering what the difference is between a bov and a wastegate and which one is better. Also i was told in one of my other threads that having a vented stock bov like i do now is a bad thing. Why is that. And lastly what would be a good bov to go with aftermarket, what is the best brand.

. your questions can be answered easily through searching but its ok ill give you a little 411. the wastegate is on your turbo assuming your car is stock and is internally gated. once you hit the psi that is set your
problems but annoying ones. the solution to this is getting a MAF translator and eventually a GM maf setup. search up thedsmgraveyard.com or dejonpowerhouse.com to see these parts and how much they cost and how they work. Any other "simple" questions can be found through searching. Thats what the search button is for dont be afraid to use it. Learn as much as you can on your own and if you hit a wall then post ?s but other than that enjoy your DSM dont beat the **** out of it and GL with everything
