ok boys, I'm ready for assembly, I checked everything over with a mic and dial bore gauge and verified my measurements with plastigage. I'm looking at 0.003 for oil clearances on the mains and rods. I would of liked 0.002 but with such high oil pressure due to the lack oil balance shafts I think this is beneficial. The person who assembled this motor did it totally half assed. The old crank was way worse than he said..... 1,2,3 rod journals were all 1.76--number 4 was 1.74 this motor wouldn't of had oil pressure. The mains were off measuring 2.23---. The motor would hAve been destroyed. I'm glad this happened..... now I can build my own damn motors, from top to bottom. This isn't the kind of knock you can ignore. Well, you can, just not for very long
