Need some Experienced advice

I am currently in the rebuild stage. I just got the block done, bored to 2.2L, wiseco's @8.3-1, scat rods, arp main bolts, clevite bearings and a balnaced crank. The head is being rebuilt with ferrera 1mm oversize valves, titanium springs and retainers, port and polish @ approx stage 2-3. My question for those experienced dsmer's out there is this: What type of cams and turbo would be a good combo? I am looking at crane cams. There are 2 models I am looking at and can't decide which would be better, #435-0014(A) or#435-0014.

How did you bore your block to 2.2L???

I took it to an engine rebuilder local to me. He has the only torque plate in the city, so I trusted I was getting a true bore. I believe the torque plate bore will add longevity to a motor that I am gonna punish repeatedly.

so you bored your motor 4.24 mm over huh. where did you find these special pistons? Or better yet how did you keep from going onto the water jackets.

I like the turbo choice, for the money at least. If your serious I would recommend something larger, at least a gt35r or equivalent.

Hehehe, I'm not doing the work myself. I machine shop is. They build race motors. I want a reliable motor. I don't trust my work. I had to redo the motor i rebuilt this summer for my daily driver because the bolt holding the oil pump sproket on backed out. I was gonna locktite it but just torqued it to spec.
Anyway, the pistons I got through Bell engine services and they bored the block to fit them. Got a complete set of wiseco pistons and rings. We went with Scat rods cause it was cheaper to get them delievered to canada from the supplier in the US. If I ordered Eagle rods, I would of had to pay for Air Mail.

Thanks for the tip on the turbo. After doing more reading for the last few hours, I think I'll go with the fp2x cams. Think it will fit my needs better.

I dont have any experience with crane cams but i am looking at picking up a set of fp..x cams.

I meant in my earlier post that you are not boring you block to 2.2l.

Oooops, I had them bore thre the block 20 thousand over. Not 2.2L as you stated. Not sure why I used 2.2L instead of 20 thousand. Guess I was thinking too hard about a good turbo and cam combo. Anyway, I didn't find enough good reliable info on the crane cams to go with them. Too many people on here have had great sucess with fp cams, so I'll stick with what is known.
