So currently I have a walbro 255 in my car, its been sitting since im not in arizona for the summer. When I get back, ive picked out the following to upgrade, most it already bought except for the inline pump.
stainless lines from tank to rail
fuelab fuel filter (long)
inline walbro pump or bosch 044, not sure, opinions?
-10 magnus fuel rail
fuelab FPR
stainless return lines

My biggest question is, i know most people go with -6 or -8 an lines for the feed, but since the magnus is tapped for -10, and my friend has a bunch of spare -10 fittings and line, i wondered if going with a -10 for the feed is overkill? I searched around high and low for the answer, and have only found a few people that run -10, but havent been able to get any answers. I was planning on running -8 return regardless. Hopefully someone knowledgeable can answer this.

turbo setup is holset hx40 with divided mani

-10 is overkill. The feed line is roughly the size of the -6an and has been proven to push people into the high hp numbers. . .

WAY overkill. You'll run out of pump long before you ever come close to maxing the flow capacity of -10AN lines, especially on the HX40.

Not to mention, it's a lot more expensive, more difficult to tuck the lines, etc.

Right, on I thought so, ill just go with -8. Does anyone know how many feet of hose im going to need to go from the tank to rail and then rail to tank? I don't have my dsm here, or else i would measure, just trying to compile a parts list.

STM sells a tank to rail kit for 259 and a return kit for the same. They come with an afpr and fuellab filter
