AN style fittings, SS lines and fuel return line question

You can either buy ready made kits for our cars for SS fuel lines or by the parts yourself. I am thinking about just doing it myself because there is not much competition in the market for kits (i only know of SBR offering them), so prices are a bit high. If I get my own lines, how can the AN fittings securely attach to the SS line?

The fuel return line runs the complete underside of the car to return fuel to the tank right?

To answer your last question first, yes.

I'm assuming you're talking about installing an AFPR with these lines, correct? If so, one other kit to check out is the one from Import Evolution. It uses an Aeromotive universal AFPR that uses NPT fittings with hose barbs. There is one AN fitting that goes onto the fuel rail outlet adapter, but from there on out, it's NPT and barbs. I'm using it and it seems to work OK.

dang that last one is a good deal! too bad i already got the regulator. i actually got it from import evolution. but i like fabricating stuff and its cheaper do it that way. all the lines and fittings i can buy and make it myself. i even came across a DIY for making SS lines for 1g and 2g. once you understand that, you can do it all. im deginately going to do it! save over $50

Justin, I have a hose and fitting shop in So Cal. I also have a complete machine shop here. If you come by sometime I'll be happy to show you how to put AN fittings together. Could also tap your fuel rail for you if you want.
