Ive searched everywhere and I found a page last week showing how to install the line onto the fitting but I cannot find it now. I got one of the fittings onto the line but now I cannot get the other end onto the fitting for the life of me. I used electrical tape to wrap it, does anybody have anymore tips before I ruin all of my SS line? THanks! :dsm:

What I do is take a hose clamp and clamp it down right where you want to cut on the side you want to keep.

Then I take my dremel with a cut-off wheel and cut through the braids next to the hose clamp, leaving about 1/6"- 1/8" of the end sticking out. I cut the hose with a knife.

Next I take the AN fitting to go on the hose and stick that in a vise with rags around it.

Then shove the braided line into the end of the fitting. I then unscrew the hose clamp a little at a time so that the braided hose can slide into the AN fitting. Once all the wires are inside, I shove hard and then crank down the fitting.

Good luck, they can suck!

Screw this! I had 2 ss lines long enough to go from the FPR to the fuel rail. I got one fitting on one of the hoses and the other end kept fraying and I kept having to cut it and it kept fraying. So now that hose is too short. Now for the second one I tried what you said with the hose clamp and one end went on beautifully! But the next end kept doing what the first line did! It kept fraying and getting shorter and shoter! Now I have 2 hoses that are too short!

POS Im just going to use regular hose now, but now I have to find more barbed fittings :thumbdown

Oh yah, my fingers are all sore from all the pricking the ss line did to them :thumbdown :thumbdown
