I bought a kit to make my car a push button start car. I have wired everything as eatsleepdsm has said to on their website
http://eatsleepdsmmag.com/how-to-push-button-start/
I get power to all my switches and my start button but now a few things aren't working as they previously did before going this route.
The power windows do not move, the hazard lights won't stay on, the rad fans won't fire up, and power mirrors won't work.
The radio does work, my gauge lights and voltmeter work, my turn signals work, headlights work, wideband powers on, seat belts work along with the seat belt chime.... I'm at a loss for what I'm missing so if someone can just bring me back to earth in attempts to get power back to everything, that would be great.
Rad fan is on a relay and previously was hotwired but I put it on a toggle switch and no matter how I configure the wires it won't get the fans to spin. Confirmed that the fuse to battery is good and getting 12.5v, wire from switch is getting 12.5v, the last two wires are getting zero signal so I'm leaning towards a bad relay and I have a spare but relay was working previously. Will update if using the new relay will make the fans kick on.
Long post but just brain fried over what could have gone wrong in changing a few wires....
Yes the car is down but I don't see why it would have any effect on testing the system out
