Prothane Motor Mounts help with Shifting?

I was at the drag strip the other night and it's really hard to shift to 2nd gear when gunning it. I think it's because the engine really rocks back and forth. I was wondering if getting the Prothane mounts would help at all with this? It's annoying to have to slow shift it to 2nd instead of slamming it. Any ideas?

It's probably old synchros, not the motor moving around.

They're always a good idea though.
