What size is that? That part of the bumper support will probably help with air flow. I just cut all of mine. I used ETS Race fmic.

very nice gives me an idea of what to do when i get a bigger fmic, iv a got a short long oneright nowcuaseididnt want to cut a big gapping whole and basicly ruin the bumper

Thats a nice looking car. Can you find me a $750 car too? :) Uhm wait no how about 2 of them.

I ended up cutting the top and bottom out but left the front. I needed more air to reach the radiator. I am battling some very hot temps here in Phoenix so I needed the air to go around the innercooler better.

my temps were 210-216 after driving and idling for 5 min while doing fuel trims....about 80-ish outside. I am at an advantage tho as I removed my AC and WOW is there more room for flow!

I know!!! i want sportlines/megan springs/GC's for a solid 2" drop. i want NO wheel gap. my svt focus is tucking tire on bilstein PSS9's and i cheaped out on the TSi. i SHOULD have saved another $100 and went with megan coils. illumina springs are still 4x4 :(

ive discussed this before but you're better off by removing the bumper brace. its integrity is no longer useful. its now just a long piece of weight.

^ I concur.

I love how aggressive and stock the talon 2gb is. Just a shame it has such a small gap. I haven't seen a widened talon mouth yet....

I have picts on the install page....2 bolts into the OEM foglight holes, using the supplied hard rubber bushing as a spacer. had to use bolts on a thunderbird as the supplied ones were WAY too thick.

I don't think I wanna even TRY to open the bumper up...would ###### look funky. if it helps with cooling I would rather cut around the emblem than just open up the mouth.

cooling is an issue. 206 while cruising WITH the fans on max. it got to 255Deg for some reason and almost boiled over on me while doing LTFT idling after crusing one night. I read about setting fans to MAX ON 100% right after this. it was running @ 226 deg cruising at 60mph on the highway. airflow is REALLY blocked to the rad with the FMIC and the bumper.

doesn't matter, timing (as I presume) jumped a few weeks ago while I was WOT tuning so the car is sitting now with what I presume bent valves. Another POS DSM takes more money from its owner, EVEN when u do it the right way with OEM parts and a proper build. I dont have cash for a Rebuild. If its rebuilt I will look at selling it as I can't deal with worrying about timing jumping again. everyone was right....these cars are built to make power, and FALL APART. if they didnt look soooo sexxy and have AWD I'd never want one. sorry for bitching, but this is bulls***
