Glad you got that 850 dollar boost controller out of your head, when you can by the aem boost soilnoid and have complete control if you want electronic.

If I ever saw a street car or a 9 second dsm with that controller Ill pee on the car. Guys that run that have traction issues, or dont wanna die because there breaking records on small size slicks/drag radials.

I would make sure the injectors will be enough, you might need to run 2 sets of injectors, and 3 pumps. I know big ted was at that point. He was running 8 1600cc injectors, and 3 pumps because he was running out of fuel.

HA 3 pumps that's just crazy. Why use 3 when you can use just one
(mind you I have to use a different brand because the areomotive's are too tall but this is and has been the game plan since the beginning.)

Hey buddy, I dont know if the wastegate situation is handled or not but PLEASE go with a Tial!!! It is going to be much easier to replace them now when nothing it bolted together then to stress and have to do it later. At least think about it. As far as the Hallman goes, good choice!!

You've seen this right? I have no idea how much you plan to be flowing with that turbo or what idc you care to see. After all you could probably just bump your fuel pressure a little, although I'm not sure if you could get a good tune like that since they're already flowing so much....idk I'm still a noob LOL.

Thanks I had not sen that but that confirms my guess that 1650cc injectors should bee good considering 1600cc injectors support 89.43lbs/min and these are 1650's but you don't want to run them at 100% idc so the extra 50cc should alow me to run them at the 89.43lbs/min without maxing them out. Which 89.43 is like 890whp ideally and my turbo is rated to 86lbs/min anyway. I don't think I will need any more than 80lbs/min to reach my goal with the new shell and good driving so like I said I should be good :D

Are you gonna be running your fuel cell in the engine bay?

Are you gonna be running your fuel cell in the engine bay?

I"m debating on it. If I don't I have to tech run a primer pump which is just to get the car started and then once it has pressure and flow this pump can do it all. If I do put it in the engine bay this pump doesn't require a primer pump

A few other benefits to running the cell in the engine bay are less fuel hose hose to purchase and much less weight due to not needing to firewall the cell like you would have to do in the hatch. The only drawback, of course, is the lack of fitment options.

My cell will be mounted in the nose of my 1G for the benefits stated.

I have to mess around with dimensions and available room thought before I commit to this kind of fuel supply though. I would like to have it under the hood though.

The JMFab fuel cell would be ideal for your set up. The sweet thing about it is that, it bolts up to your factory location.

I got the trigger disk in today. Def a expensive piece of metal but well worth what it does.

Oh ok, Never heard of it, thats why i was asking.. Thanks

No problem man. From the looks of it even though the exlenation is a little too technical for the average dsm guy it should have the same effect as the CAS that takes the place of the balance shaft setup that Kiggly sells.

Got the new COP setup and my 50mm bov in today. The person who made the COP used some like press in speaker clips but I have the real ones that I will be putting on asap. NO the bov is not a Tial and NO I will not get rid of it and buy a real Tial because I know that is what some people will say. I ran thsi same bov on my old GT14 setup and never leaked so guess what went on this setup.

How would that nip a tial debate??? The engine bay looks like shit. Rat nest wires. Cruise isnt even mounted. How fast did it go??? MAYBE 12's??? I'd have a hard time believing that.

I dont think the knock off bov is terrible. But when your trying to build a car with no compromises and to hang with the big dogs and impress people I wouldnt be putting el cheapo parts on it. But that's just me. on a budget the knock off bov will probably be fine.

Good thing I'm not trying to impress people.

That was the first dsm I ever messed with and it was not done at the time of the pic. The point was not that I had built some 10 sec beast that owned all just that I have run this bov and know it works so please don't tell me to go get a tial because this bov works PERIOD.

I'll be sure to mount my cruise with this build so that I can break 12s ROFL j/k

haha I got a kick out of this. Showed my girl and she said that woul dnever happen in my house. LoL :thumb:

My girl said that too when we moved in LOL.

To the question how fast that car went never took that setup to the track. I'll be honest I raced it on the streets. I can't give you any exact input on how fast but again I was not posting the picture to be like this bov will make your car go fast. It was to show the haters that I have run this bov before and it works period. I don't car how much you hate on it it's not going anywhere. I am always open to input from people and sometimes I will be like yeah you guys are right I was being dumb but this isn't a comunity project and every part is not open for discussion. This is me showing you my build not me asking you what I should do. Read enjoy comment and leave it at that.

what are you trying to do with this car? What are your goals? lastly how fast was the car or your other car before. Just curious.
PS this has nothing to do with the bov.

^^ all i have to say is FACE! haha. Stop hating on the mans build guys it is sick!

I'm impressed.

BTW, I have an ebay 38mm wastegate that I had used on my t3 sc61 setup. They work. You probably know this already, but just make sure they open when pressure is applied to them. This should insure proper function.

Good job and progress man. I like the fact that you work on your car anywhere that you have available, it shows the love you have for what your doing. I cannot tell you the how many people use the, "I don't have the time" excuse for working on cars. Or the, "I don't have the space" excuse for working on cars. Losers make excuses, winners make it happen.

Your making it happen.
